MOHINDER KAUR In Peace, we deeply regret to announce the sad passing away of our beloved mother Mrs. Mohinder Kaur, wife of late S. Dara Singh Bhangu, on February 28, 2001 at our residence, 113 Hopwood Dr., Winnipeg with all the family present by her side. She was born on July 13, 1924 at village Badrukhay (Sangrur) and was daughter of Capt. Gurdev Singh retired S.P. Police and Mrs. Tejwant Kaur. She was niece of late Lt. General Harbaksh Singh and Maj. General Gurbax Singh, Lt. Col. Ranjit Singh and S. Dalip Singh. She graduated with honours in Prabhakar from Punjab University in 1938 and served in the education department of Punjab, India. In 1975 she moved to Canada and settled in Winnipeg. Religious and God fearing woman brought up her family, in good spirits and wonderful manners. We can not forget her loving memories. She is survived by: (from India) S. Gurjattan Singh (brother-in-law), S. Baldev Singh (nephew), S. Hardev Singh (nephew) and rest of the Bhangu Family. (From Canada) Shivpal Bhangu (son), Joginder Bhangu (daughter-in-law), Ranapreet Bhangu (granddaughter), Sukhinder Bhangu (granddaughter), Manpreet Bhangu (grandson), Hanspal Bhangu (son), Teresita Bhangu (daughter-in-law), Jaspreet Bhangu (grandson), Mandeep Bhangu (grandson), Lakhvinder Mahal (daughter), Jasbir Mahal (son-in-law), Sandeep Mahal (grandson), Harmeet Mahal (grandson). Prayers and viewing will be held on March 24 (Saturday) at 2:30 p.m. at Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley St., Winnipeg, Man. Final prayers and Lungar at 5:00 p.m. at Singh Sabah Sturgeon Rd.
